The Cleveland Indians welcomed back Kenny Lofton tonight at Jacobs Field for his third stint with the Tribe. After enjoying a standing ovation while trotting out to left field, striking out his first at bat, he ended the evening going 3 for 5 with one RBI. Not bad for his first night back.
Still not sold on the Tribe acquiring a 40 year old "well-traveled" outfielder whom I remember as being pretty arrogant the last time he came through Cleveland. But maybe his time spent in Chicago and Texas has made him ready to return to the team that got his career jump started.
Now who can we acquire to fill the gap in our pitching rotation?
